The beginnings of the history of the Italian company BRC date back to the late 1960s, although it is officially assumed that the company was founded in 1977. Over 50 years of development, it has created many groundbreaking solutions for the automotive gas installation industry.
In 2006, the merger of BRC and IMPCO created a large organization Fuel System Solution listed on the US stock exchange. In 2009, BRC bought the Argentinian company Tomasetto Achille, which strengthened its position in South America. In 2010, BRC took over the Canadian company Fuel Maker, which produces CNG compressors. In 2011, the originally Dutch company GFI Control System, part of the American company Impco, was absorbed by BRC.
Since 2016, BRC has been part of the Canadian Westport Fuel Systems Group.
BRC currently offers the following LPG installation kits for engines with indirect gasoline injection: Sequent 32 OBD, Sequent Plug & Drive, Sequent ALBA 32, Sequent ALBA +.
The offer for engines with direct gasoline injection includes 2 systems: Sequent Direct Injection 2.0 and LDI.
