Spark plug for LPG/CNG engines BRISK SILVER DR15YS-9 - the design and materials used in BRISK SILVER spark plugs are adapted to the conditions prevailing in engines powered by LPG/CNG gas fuels. They are single electrode candles with a central electrode made of silver. This solution lowers the voltage at which the spark-over occurs. Silver has excellent thermal conductivity and electrical erosion resistance. The middle electrodes in BRISK SILVER spark plugs are thinner, have a thinner and longer insulator. This increases the space between the insulator and the metal part of the spark plug. As a result, the BRISK SILVER spark plugs reach the self-cleaning temperature faster, and the center electrodes have a longer life. The special shape of the spark gap allows the gas-air mixture to have excellent access to it, which results in faster ignition. The fuel burns more thoroughly. BRISK SILVER candles should have a gap between the electrodes of 0.7-0.9 mm.
