Sequential gas installation for a car - price
The prices of car sequential gas installations vary depending on many factors, including:
- the engine's construction and the number of cylinders,
- the method of fueling the engine, whether it's an indirect or direct fuel injection petrol engine,
- the manufacturer of the gas supply system (installation brand).
Large variety of engines
There is a large variety of engines used in cars on the roads. Depending on the size of the car, different sized engines are used, which, in addition to having different piston displacement capacity, are built in different configurations (in-line, V, or opposed – boxer engines) and have a varying number of cylinders (from 2 to even 12).
Most popular engines on the market
By far the most popular engines on the market are constructed in an in-line configuration, usually equipped with 4 cylinders, although currently, in the era of downsizing and the fight against carbon dioxide emissions, more and more engines are built in a 3-cylinder, in-line configuration.
Indirect or direct fuel injection petrol engines
Engines equipped with indirect injection fueling are very popular, although for many years the proportion of engines with direct petrol injection has been systematically increasing.
Supercharged engines, mainly turbocharged
Supercharging is becoming increasingly popular in modern engines, allowing high parameters to be achieved from relatively small displacement engines.
How much does a sequential gas installation cost
The prices of sequential car gas installations for the most popular cars on the market equipped with 3- and 4-cylinder engines range from around 4,000 PLN to over 6,000 PLN, depending on whether they have indirect or direct petrol injection.
Sequential installations for engines with more cylinders are more expensive. Prices for such installations can exceed 8,000 PLN in the case of 8-cylinder engines.
