The Italian company ROMANO Srl was founded in 1975 and began its operations as a workshop assembling gas systems in cars. In 1985, the company began producing components for car gas systems under the ROMANO AUTOGAS brand.
In 1990, exports of ROMANO AUTOGAS products began, primarily to the Netherlands. Soon, exports expanded to other markets, such as Russia and South American countries.
In 1996, the first ROMANO LPG/CNG injector was produced, and in 1997, the first sequential gas injection system. 10 years later, in 2007, the first sequential LPG system for cars with direct petrol injection is created.
In 2012, the ROMANO Antonio system is created, which is the first universal controller for adapting engines with indirect and direct petrol injection to LPG.
The ROMANO Autogas brand is present in over 30 countries around the world.
