6 mm diameter copper pipe

Copper wire with an outer diameter of 6 mm, sheath made of polyvinyl chloride - PVC, which does not contain chlorofluorocarbons (CFC).

The 6 mm copper wire is characterized by high plasticity, which facilitates laying under the car, and the PVC sheath ensures high mechanical resistance (abrasion) and corrosion resistance.

Copper pipe fi 6 mm is used in the high-pressure part of automotive gas installations in which LPG is in the liquid phase.

A 6 mm copper pipe usually connects the LPG tank with the gas solenoid valve in the engine compartment and the solenoid valve with the LPG reducer.

Copper wire fi 6 mm:

• nominal external diameter without lagging - 6 mm,
• inner diameter - 4.4mm,
• temperature range - from -80 to 100°C,
• approval according to the UN/ECE Regulation 67R01,
• black PVC lagging.

The 6 mm copper wire is made of CW024A copper (deoxidized with phosphor with a high content of phosphorus). The copper content is a minimum of 99.90% and a minimum of 0.015 to 0.040% phosphorus. It is a very plastic material, very well weldable and solderable, resistant to hydrogen. Used wherever electrical parameters are not important.

Copper wire fi 6 mm (assembly recommendations):

• it is mounted under the car using metal holders,
• compensation loops are made on it for fixed elements of the car gas installation (refueling valve, gas solenoid valve, reducer),
• it is carried out at a minimum distance of 10 cm from the engine exhaust system (smaller distance requires the use of insulating screens).
